Hello & Happy Friday 🌞!! How is everyone doing?!?! What a weekend I had last week!! I did 2 Farmers and Art Markets and it went really well…especially the weather!! While there, I even got a custom order and got to see/meet ‘friends’ there😃. It’s been a bit busy for me lately with all these markets/shows so I don’t have too much for the blog again this week…finished last weeks WIP and then started a new one, no new listings-just have some limited available past kits still, then I have some updates and news for my K~Max Klub!! Let’s get this blog going, shall we?!?!
If you remember, last Friday I took the day to get ready for some he Farmers Market and do some much other needed work, so I hadn’t gotten too much farther then where I left off from last Thursday evening! Yep! Still working on my 5×7 Face Art…the one that is very unusual and different for me😉. So, when I came back to my bead tray on Monday, I started with 160 rows and 7,360 beads. At that point, you could see the beginning of the mouth taking shape. I pulled my rows-5 at a time and beaded all day until it was time to go back to real world stuff and stopped at 180 rows & 8,280 beads…look!! It seems like she has a bit of a smirk going on!! Not too much left now!! Tuesday morning I kicked off my day with 190 rows-almost done!! I just love when I am getting done & get that ‘satisfaction’ and energy that goes with being able to start something new too😍!! I finished her that day with 200 rows with a whopping 9,200 beads!! I only have to work on getting her framed and photographed to be able to list her!! For now, here are some of the final working photos to check out!!😃
Let’s move on to the next WIP of this week😃. Instead of starting it Tuesday afternoon, I decided to wait until Wednesday to start it-but I did get everything set up for Tuesday night!!😉 I started of with about 10 rows and roughly 360 beads-as you can see I am just using 2 colors so far-did I mention this would be a 3 color project?!?! My plan with this one is to make the bracelet size but turn it into a hanging!! I beaded throughout the day and I want to say I stopped at around 50 rows(about 1,800 beads)-I didn’t keep up too much with the rows/bead counts on this one…I just and beaded😊. A lot of whit and some black so far-looks like it’s going to be a face…but WHO?!?! Later on, some one did guess-Jack Skellington!! I just love him😍. Thursday I came back to beading Jack and had roughly 60 rows done…his eyes were almost done! Soon I’ll be adding another color…for his mouth-I stopped at around 100 rows with about 3,600 beads😁. Now it’s Friday and I am back to working on Jack again-starting off with about 110 rows…let’s see how far I’ll get on him today…REMEMBER, that you can check out my Facebook Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page throughout the day to watch updates and working photos!
Time to share with you all a listing…these are not new but I do have some left😉. These are the past kits I still have in my shop!! Very LIMITED QUANTITIES & once they are gone- they will stay forever GONE!! Come and check out what I have left…here you’ll see a few examples of past kits I might still have in stock-if not, someone already grabbed it up😁!!
Now, let’s talk about news and updates from my K~Max Klub😃. I know I have been a bit lax in posting items, bead-alongs and everything lately!! I just have been so busy with the Art Markets on Saturday’s & Sunday’s and then shows on the other weekends!! PLEASE just stick with me a little bit longer…I’ll be getting back on track real soon😉. I will definitely be getting a bead-along put together for June😊. For now, please feel free to continue accessing out Klub files and past bead-alongs!! Have you all seen the post that Janet put up?!?! She has done a tremendous job working on and finishing my Swing at Sunrise pattern!! I can’t wait to see how she decides to frame it😁…you did a beautiful job Janet!! Here is a photo of it just in case you didn’t see it😉😉.
