Hello & Happy Friday!! How is everyone doing this week?!?! What another great weekend I had last week!! The weather, although a bit hit, was just about perfect at the Jacksonville Zoo!! There was an amazing crowd there and we had an amazing 2 days of sales😍!! Well, enough about that-time to get down to some beading news😉. This week, I have a few different things that were going on…finished up the Jack Skellington bracelet-sized wall hanging on Monday and even started another new WIP that same day-only to finish that one early this morning and start another WIP today!! Been busy this week😉-and if that is t enough, I even listed the new and highly unique 5×7 pattern in my shop of the Pink Face!! I also still have some available past kits that come with all you need to make either a bracelet or Art(extremely limited and first come/first serve) still in my shop and they are at a discounted price!! Then last but not least have some news/updates from my K~Max Klub 😃. Time to get started…here we go…😉😁
Off we go…Monday was the day that I finished My Jack Skellington WIP that I started last week. When I left you all on Friday, I had about 150 rows done…didn’t keep track of my rows bead count for this one…just went with the bead flow and beaded and had fun with this one😉. So when I came back on Monday I was almost done with him and had added the last and final color into the mix (remember this one only has 4 colors)…beaded my morning away and ended up finishing him early on!! Only thing left to do at that point was to put the chain on the bar to make him into a hanging and send him off to his ‘new’ forever home-YEP!! He is already spoken for 😍. Don’t worry though-if you are sad that he is gone don’t be-you can make him too-with the pattern in my shop for him!! Here are some of the last working photos for now…Enjoy!!
Next up, a New Listing 😃!! This is a listing for a brand née pattern in my shop-you might have seen me make a sample of it already, but now you can have the chance to make this very unique and different style beadwork too!! It is the 5×7 Art of the Pink Face. This was a pattern I definitely created out of my comfort zone and out of the box(very different from patterns I normally create) but it will make a surprisingly beautiful Art creation. Here it is-and don’t forget to check what other patterns I might have😉
Are you all ready for another WIP I worked on this week?!?! This one I got to start early Monday afternoon!! This will be another bracelet-sized wall hanging…with the first 10 rows you could already start to see something forming! By the end of my Monday I had about 20 rows more or less-again, I just went with the flow of the beads and had fun and didn’t keep that great of track on my rows or bead counts😊…and had added the bar on top to later add the chain for the hanging. There’s more ‘growing’ on him now but still too early to guess WHO he is😁. I started my Tuesday with the same amount of rows done as the night before (had so much to do I didn’t get no chance to bead more) but I grabbed my needle and started to bead and little by little you could see more details and by the end of that day and @ 70 rows with 1,400 beads, someone had already been able to guess that it was Baby Groot😃. Wednesday came and I had done a little more-about 80 rows now and his eyes were almost completely done. That day I managed to work on him quite a bit before it was time to stop a little early in order to be able to have an evening out with my family😃. I believe I had about 130 rows done at that time and part of his arms and body were starting to show. Thursday, I had started off with maybe another 10 rows added onto that-so more of his arms and body showing and kept beading until I had his legs done…thought I might have been able to finish him that day but I wasn’t able to🙃. So now it’s Friday and first thing in the morning, I got straight to work on him and finished him early on!! Only thing left to do is add the chain on top…I think I will be taking him with me this weekend to see what people think of him!! Time to show you all some of the working photos then I will be off to start something new!!-yep!!-I already have it set up and ready to start!!

Today, since I already set up everything last night for it, I also started a new WIP 😁. This one only has 5 rows and 230 beads started, but you can already see something besides just background😉. This will be a 5×7 Art…let’s see how far I can get and how long it will take someone to guess it!! Last but not least😉…some updates/news from my K~Max Klub! I’m still working on putting something together for my members for a June bead-along but in the meantime, Jessica has posted an update on the past bead-along ( the field of tulips 5×7 Art) and I’d like to share that with you all here, just in case you missed it😃. Also, I saw Debra post that she has now started the 4 Seasons Art kit she got from me and hopefully she will share some pictures with us soon on her progress😉. Here is the post from Jessica for now and I’ll be working on our next bead-along😉.
