Hello & Happy Friday 🌞!! What a week it has been!!! I had a little bit of a rocky start trying to get my November Kits listed on Monday, but I did get the ‘issue’ resolved and put them up…and I must say they are just wonderful 😃!! I know it took me quite some time, but I also finally got the new listing up for the Blue & White Beadwoven Necklace up as well this week! If you’ve been following a long, most of you know that I’ve been working on the sample for the November art kit…I was able to finish it and start a new WIP(sample for the peyote bracelet in a box kit) this week as well!! Then I have some news for my K~Max Klub😃. This week I have quite a bit to show and tell you…what do you say…shall we get started?!?!
I want to start this week off with the WIP sample of the Panda 5×7 Art😉. Last Friday I left you all at row 60 and 2,760 beads in…some leaves and the Pandas ears and even an eye peeking out😃. Over the past weekend, I wasn’t able to get much done being out with Family again, but I did manage 30 rows and so I started my Monday off with 90 rows and 4,140 beads and now at that point, the whole panda face is basically done!!! There’s a lot shadowing in the face…in person it looks so life -like and I must say that I’m quite happy at the way it is turning out so far😃. By the end of Monday, I had another 20 rows done and left you all at 110 rows & 5,060 beads!!! Tuesday, I came back starting the day off with 125 rows done and 5,750 beads…pulled my rows out(sets of 5 at a time) and managed to get to row 145 with 6,670 beads by the end of Tuesday!! It is amazing at how the panda looks when the light hits off of it…it looks even better-I just live how he looks!! Now we are up to Wednesday…I started the day off with 160 rows and 7,360 beads…now the back leg and paw of the other leg & even the butt is now done and the only thing left to complete was the bamboo and background 😁. I worked all day adding rows hoping to finish the bamboo and leaves but was only able to get to row 180 with 8,280 beads by the end of the day! The rest ended up waiting for Thursday…I worked on the rest in the morning hours and by a little after 10 on Thursday I finished him!! A total of 198 rows and 9,108 beads…he is just too cute!! I am hoping to get him mounted and listed on Monday of next week😉…for now, here are some of the working photos to take a look at in case you missed them😃
Before we move on to the new and recent WIP, let’s take a look at the new listing for this week😃. This one was done back in the middle of October but it took me a while to get real good pictures and the time to edit & then list it…but it’s finally done and ready as of Wednesday of this week!! The ‘Blue and White Ceramic Beadwoven Necklace’!! This necklace is perfect for almost any time of the year and it’s very light weight to wear😉. Here it is… Enjoy & grab this OOAK Necklace…a perfect gift for the holidays 😉
Now it’s time to move on to the next WIP!! This one is of the sample for the November Peyote Bracelet in a box kit!! I just love this kit…it’s a Knome…yeah, I know it is spelled wrong, but you all know that I am Krafty with a K and I couldn’t resist calling the gnome a Knome with a K😉. I started this fella on Thursday afternoon with 10 rows and 180 beads…just a hint of green( the top part of his hat😃). I worked through the day pulling my rows of 10 at a time (180 beads at one time) and I ended up finishing the day with 40 rows and 720 beads!! Now it is Friday and I kicked the day off with 50 rows and 900 beads😃…hoping to have his beard done by days end…we’ll have to wait & see😉. Next up…some updates & news from my K~Max Klub!! I worked on the Art for the bead-along for November…which will be a 5×7 and I have put up the bead colors and quantities on our Klub page, along with a picture of what the art will be for the pattern😃. I put this information up now because I know it is a bigger size and it might take some time for some of you all to get the beads needed to do the bead-along…I am hoping to get this started at some point next week-so a note to my members…keep an eye out😉. Until then, keep sharing and working on any or all past bead-alongs and don’t forget to show those photos!!
I am so excited to introduce you all to the New November Kits!!! I just can’t believe how wonderfully these turned out😃. For November I decided to change things up and create a knome 2 drop Peyote pattern for the Peyote Bracelet in a box kit. Then I created a wonderful nature scene of a Panda-also in 2 drop Peyote-as the pattern for the 5×7 Art in a Bag Kit. Let me go ahead and tell you a little bit more about each individual kit with the important dates for availability 😃.
Let’s begin with the Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit! The Kit for November features an Earthly Knome(gnome- thought it would be cute-you know like Krafty😉) for the pattern!! With each kit, each box will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from October 29, 2020 until November 30, 2020 and then Kits will be mailed on or by December 7, 2020. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Now on to the Art in a Bag Kit! The Art in a Bag Kit for November features a wonderful Panda sitting and reaching for some yummy bamboo!! With each kit, each bag will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed Art: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, and an appropriate sized canvas for mounting completed art. Kit dates are as follows: Available from October 29, 2020 until November 30, 2020 and then Kits will be mailed on or by December 7, 2020.
