Good Morning ☀️ & Happy Friday!! What a week!! Was your week as good as mine?!?! Monday was MLK Day and most of you might have seen I took that day off of being on the computer-but I was still beading!! So, between the weekend and Monday, I was able to get a lot done-including getting 3 New Listings ready for this week!! I’m still currently working on the sample for this month’s 5×7 Art in a bag Kit, but I expect to finish that today and maybe even get something new set up for the next WIP😃. I think today I will just get right into it…😉😉
So…the WIP 😁. If you have been following along, you’ll remember that I started the sample from January’s Art in a Bag kit at the end of last week! The last place I left off on last Friday evening before the weekend was at row 40 with 1,840 beads…during the weekend and through Monday I beaded quite a bit so Tuesday I ended up kicking the day off with 85 rows & 3,910 beads in!!! Just look at those 💐!! All day I pulled my rows, beading until it was time to put it away for the evening…I ended up reaching row 105 with 4,830 beads!! More flowers showing and some greenery popping out now😃…soon should be able to see the top of the vase coming alive😉. By the time Wednesday morning came around, I’d already added a few rows. I ended up starting off at row 125 & 5,750 beads and now the top of the vase is showing😁. Then I beaded throughout the day until it was time for me to stop, reaching row 145 with 6,670 beads!! Wow!! It still shocks me every time-the amount of beads that go into a work of this size😊 The flowers, at this point we’re done and then it was time to keep working on the vase and the shading/shadows …it is very hard to do this in beading!! So far, I think I’ve done pretty well…I keep switching which way the vase and flowers will face…trying to decide which way I like best… I’ll keep going until I figure it out😉. Thursday came…it was a good day…I got to bead, but I also had to do laundry and get the house ready for family that will be coming over!! I started the day out with 155 rows and 7,130 beads!! The vase at that point was almost complete…a little more to go and then it will be all about the shading and shadows of the overall vase/flowers😃. I worked all day trying to get as far as I could and ended up finishing the day at row 175 with 8,050 beads. Friday, here now…a little over a week since I had started this WIP and with any luck, should have it finished sometime today!! I am kicking the day off with 180 rows and 8,280 beads…let’s see how long it will take …REMEMBER, that you can check out my Facebook Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page throughout the day to watch updates and working photos!
Next up, I want to share a new listing from this week😃. The first listing I put up this week was on Tuesday and it is none other than the ‘Knome Bookmark’. This was actually from a bead-along I did with my K~Max Klub meme ers and was actually a bracelet but I decided to do something a bit different with mine…I turned mine into a cute bookmark with a tassel on it. This is just perfect for those book lovers who love knomes(Gnomes) 😉. Hope you enjoy it😉😉.
It’s now time to share another listing!! This was the second new listing for this week that I put up on Wednesday 😃. This one was from my November bead-along with my K~Max Klub!! I finally had time to finish getting it out on the canvas and getting the final photo shoot done for the listing. It is a beautiful Christmas tree with presents underneath…perfect for the holidays and for that perfect touch of handmade decorations💕. Enjoy 😉!!
Before I move on to the last listing doe this week, let me give you a brief update/news from my K~Max Klub😁 for this week. I have no updates from members sharing their works…I hope to see some more soon though😉. The January bead-along is still going on and can be found in the files tab in our group page-if you are not a member and would like to become one-its easy!! All you have to do to become a member of my Klub is to have had purchased something from my shop-then you ask to join the Klub and answer the quick and simple questions!! Remember-if you missed any previous bead-alongs and would like to still do them, they will be in the files tab too on our Klub page😉. Now, we move on to the last New Listing for this week😁. This one I put up on Thursday…this is from my ‘Other’ passion of crocheting!! I call it ‘Blue & Grey Baby Blanket’. A lovely, warm, and heartfelt gift to give to a new baby or expecting mom😉!! Enjoy!!
Now, I am so excited to introduce you all to the New January Kits!!! I just can’t believe how wonderfully these turned out😃. For January I decided to change things up and create a Daisy 2 drop Peyote pattern for the Peyote Bracelet in a box kit. Then I created a wonderful still life scene of a Flower Vase-also in 2 drop Peyote-as the pattern for the 5×7 Art in a Bag Kit. Let me go ahead and tell you a little bit more about each individual kit with the important dates for availability 😃.
Let’s begin with the Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit! The Kit for January features beautiful Scenic Daisies for the pattern!! With each kit, each box will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from January 5, 2021 until January 30,2021 and then Kits will be mailed on or by February 7, 2021. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Now on to the Art in a Bag Kit! The Art in a Bag Kit for January features a wonderful Still Life of a Flower Vase!! With each kit, each bag will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed Art: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, and an appropriate sized canvas for mounting completed art.
