Good Morning 🌞 & Happy Friday!! How is everyone doing this week?!?! Today I will be taking the day off to spend some time with family that will be visiting with us😃. This weeks blog will be a combo of last week’s and this weeks!! Something strange happened last week and I was not able to publish blog at all😊. All is good now and will hopefully be back to regular posting next week😉. I will give a quick summary of the WIP from last week added to this weeks, a new listing, some news/updates from the K~Max Klub and then the new kits for February!! So, on that note, let’s get started😁.
Let’s begin with a summary and then photo collage of last week😉. All of last week I started and worked on for the whole week on Meredith from Brave. This is one of my favorite Disney characters!! I just love her style, strength and her love of her family!! 😃 Last Monday I datarles out with just 5 rows and 230 beads and by last Friday morning already had 125 rows and 6,000 beads. Most of her hair was done, her face was done, the beginning of the dress and then the beginning of the bow & arrow was there….
By last Friday evening I managed to reach 145 rows and 6,950 beads. Coming back this week, I didn’t get much time to work on her during the weekend because I was at RAM-The Riverside Arts Market(in Jacksonville, Florida) last weekend. So this Monday I came back to work on her and started the day off with 155 rows done and 7,440 beads. By the end of Monday I reached 175 rows & 8,400 beads. Tuesday morning came and I started my day off with 185 rows & 8,880 beads. The ‘inside of the dress’ is now starting to show…today(Tuesday) will be the day I finish Meredith!! Well, that is, the beadwork…I will have to wait until her frame comes to finish getting her ready for a new listing…maybe next week😉. By Tuesday evening the beadwork was completed at 204 rows and 9,792 beads!! Here are some more photos to see the finished progress!!
Next up, the New Listing from last week!! This listing is for a sample of the special pattern for January’s Art in a Bag Kit 😃. I call it ‘Cherry Blossoms in a Vase’ Beadwoven 5×7 Artwork! This is a beautiful Artwork done in beads…It’s perfect for anytime of year and it’s already to hang or put up on a favorite shelf!! Perfect to beautify that empty space!! Enjoy😉.
Now, it’s time to move on to the next WIP of this week😉. This WIP is the sample of the special pattern for February’s 5×7 Art in a Bag Kit. This was started on Wednesday morning with just 5 rows and 230 beads. I personally LOVE dragonflies…they are my totem-and logo!! The first 5 rows are mostly background with a hint of something starting in the last row😃. I wrapped Wednesday up with 25 rows and 1,150 beads!! So far I am loving the way they are taking shape…I hope YOU like them too!! Thursday came around and I started the day off with 40 rows ( I got a burst of energy and had the time to put in some rows the night before😉)…one dragonfly basically done and the other one halfway done…already have 1,840 beads and there’s more yet to come!! By the end of Thursday, I got 20 more rows added on and had a total of 50 rows with 2,760 beads. One dragonfly complete, 1 almost completed and 2 more starting to show!! That’s where I am at for now…today will be a day off to visit with family but over the weekend I will try to bead some more on the dragonflies…until then, here is some of the photo updates on the dragonfly WIP!! Now it’s time to move on to some news & updates from my K~Max Klub!! Also some updates from my members who posted on my KraftyMaxOriginals page too!! First, the January bead-along is still going and is in the Klub files along with all other past bead-alongs….working on the next bead-along for February and hoping to put it up in the Klub page around the 15th or so of February 😉. So keep an eye out for that!! Second, if you are Klub members who would love to continue to get your birthday earrings, you must have purchased something from me within the past year to receive them, if not there’s time to purchase something still😉(THIS IS ONLY TO GET THE BIRTHDAY EARRINGS). I am so excited to introduce you all to the New February Kits!!! I just can’t believe how wonderfully these turned out😃. For February I decided to change things up and create a Womans face in 2 drop Peyote pattern for the Peyote Bracelet in a box kit. Then I created 7 wonderful Dragonflies-also in 2 drop Peyote-as the pattern for the 5×7 Art in a Bag Kit. Let me go ahead and tell you a little bit more about each individual kit with the important dates for availability 😃.
Let’s begin with the Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit! The Kit for January features a beautiful antiqued photo of a woman’s face for the pattern!! With each kit, each box will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from February 2, 2021 until February 28, 2021 and then Kits will be mailed on or by March 7, 2021. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Now on to the Art in a Bag Kit! The Art in a Bag Kit for February features 7 wonderful and colorful Dragonflies!! With each kit, each bag will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed Art: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, and an appropriate sized canvas for mounting completed art. Kit dates are as follows: Available from February 2, 2021 until February 28, 2021 and then Kits will be mailed on or by March 7, 2021. That will bring us to the end for this week and last week😉. What do you all think of the new kits for February?!?! I love the dragonflies, but maybe that is because I’m biased on them😉😉😉. The antique style of the woman’s face came out pretty good if I say so myself!!
