Hello 🌞 & Happy Friday!! How is everyone doing so far?!?! I had a lovely weekend last week-went to the Riverside Arts Market on Saturday and then had lots of family time in Sunday. I didn’t have much time to bead but I sure did have a lot of fun 🤩 I noticed from last Friday my updates on the sample for March’s bracelet kit did not post-so I am quite a bit more ahead of where you last saw me at…will be showing you that as well as the new WIP I started Tuesday afternoon😊. Then I have some past kits that have been discounted still available to show you, an update on some Klub news and then last but not least the available kits for March for you to check out!! 🤩. Let’s get started!!!
Let’s begin with Monday & the sample of the Dreamcatcher peyote bracelet in a box kit WIP 😃. Like I mentioned before, my updates and working photos for Friday never posted on my page but I sure did work quite a bit on it!! With all that I got done on last Friday and the little bit I did over the weekend, I started Monday with 110 rows done and 1,760 beads put in already!!! At that point, the main part of the dreamcatcher was done and was just starting to get into the feathers that would hang off of it😉. During that day, I beaded in between doing stuff around the house and ended up finishing @ row 150 with 2,400 beads-just look 👀 at the way those feathers seem to be floating off of it in mid -air!! I just love the coloring in those feathers so far and even in the main part of the dreamcatcher!! At that point there was not much to finish and I was even able to add on another set of 10 rows before bed that night, starting my Tuesday off with 160 rows done and 2,560 beads ( for sure I knew I would finish it early in the day and be able to start a bee WIP) and there is only a little more to add on to the feathers! Sure enough, by early Tuesday afternoon I finished it with 172 rows and 2,752 beads…only thing left to do was to finish the ends and get photos-for now though let’s take a look at some of the last few working photos and then it will be time to go and start something new😉
Before I go on to the new WIP I started on Tuesday, let me just show you all some of the past Art/Bracelet Kits I still have a handful left with limited quantities 😃. If you don’t see one listed anymore in my shop-someone must have just beat you to it😉. Don’t forget, these are all discounted from the regular pricing and once they are gone these patterns/kits will no longer be available-So come and see what I still have and grab them while you still can😉
Time to move on to the new WIP I started Tuesday afternoon 😁. I decided to start another 5×7 Art-I know I have been doing them a lot lately, but I just love to do them!! So here we go, Tuesday afternoon & I started off with 5 rows and 240 beads…could already start to see something besides background color!! Surprisingly I was able to keep beading with no interruptions until dinner time and I made it to 20 rows and 960 beads!! Can you tell who it is yet?!?! Later that night, I had a little bit of extra energy and time to bead more, so I came back Wednesday morning with 30 rows completed and 1,440 beads…someone already guessed on my Instagram page that it it Ursala!!! It is indeed Ursala-a Kawaii style art of her anyways😉. Although someone else did come to me with another guess entirely-PINK!!-🤔…that might be another good idea to try at a later time😁. Anyways…I beaded throughout the day and stopped at 50 rows and 2,400 beads!! Very soon her eyes will be coming into view!! Later that night after playing Bingo, I still had some energy and decided to add some more rows so that when I came back Thursday morning, I started at row 65 and 3,130 beads. It might be a little hard to see, but the start of her eyes are there…I pulled my rows 5 at a time(that’s 240 beads for every 5 rows) and kept beading until it was time to get dinner ready and finished @ row 85 with 4,080 beads. Here, her legs are just beginning to appear but her eyes and eyeshadow are clear as Day now-they partially match the color of the background which is supposed to represent the sea!! Now we come to today(Friday) and I started my day off with 100 rows and 4,800 beads…let’s see how far I can get on her today!! It’s a New Month-MARCH!!! That means I get to introduce you to the New kits for this month!! I just can’t believe how wonderfully these turned out😃. For March I decided to change things up and create Dreamcatcher pattern in single stitch peyote for the Peyote Bracelet in a box kit. Then I created a big, beautiful and colorful Butterfly in 2 drop Peyote-as the pattern for the 7×5 Art in a Bag Kit. Let me go ahead and tell you a little bit more about each individual kit with the important dates for availability 😃.
Let’s begin with the Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit! The Kit for March features a beautiful Dream catcher with feathers done in single stitch peyote for the pattern!! With each kit, each box will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from March 1, 2021 until March 30, 2021 and then Kits will be mailed on or by April 7, 2021. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Now on to the Art in a Bag Kit! The Art in a Bag Kit for March features a wonderful and colorful Butterfly!! It is about 7×5 in size and is worked in 2 drop peyote. With each kit, each bag will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed Art: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), All Delica beads, and an appropriate sized canvas for mounting completed art. Kit dates are as follows: Available from March 1, 2021 until March 30, 2021 and then Kits will be mailed on or by April 7, 2021. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Last but not least, it is time for a quick update from my K~Max Klub😃. On our Klub page I have put up a photo of the pattern for next bead-along to see what you all think…is this spring enough?!?! Next week I’ll be putting up the bead color numbers & the quantities for each one…so stay tuned to join in on the fun for this bright and colorful spring bead-along!! A quick news update-if you have been following along the past few weeks, you’ll know that I have been going to some local art markets during the weekends😃. If anyone is in the area I would sure love to see you and say hi if you have the time to stop by!! Usually on Saturday’s I can be found at the RAM (Riverside Arts Market) and then on Sunday’s I can be found at the Orange Park Market. Those are the 2 main places I have been going to rain or shine unless the weather is too inclement for the safety of my jewelry and art pieces or something comes up else where😉
